Yashika Hooda

Yashika Hooda has done her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Sociology and Rehabilitation Science from Bangalore University and Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Christ (Deemed to be) University, Bangalore; qualifying each degree with a distinction. She has also qualified UGC-NET for Assistant Professor in Psychology. She has completed her Bachelors in Education from MIT-WPU, Pune; with distinction. She has also done her Bachelors in Library and Information Science from IGNOU. She is a certified Career Counselor by iDreamCareer. She is a certified Reiki Level 2 practitioner and a healer. She also knows basic Indian Sign Language. 

Yashika has experience in administering psychological tests and counseling patients with mental illness, under supervision of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurses. She has interned with organizations like Firki (A Teach for India initiative) and iTeach Schools and gained a better understanding on an equity based holistic education system. She has over two years experience of counseling and guiding adolescents for various concerns related to mood disturbances, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, career guidance; and psychoeducating them on topics like substance use and bullying. 

She enjoys reading books, drawing mandalas, painting, creating DIY items, and playing Chess. She has faith in every individual's innate strength to be their best selves; advocates for self love; and is a proud feminist.
